Before moving behind the camera, Giacomo spent over 15 years as a professional dancer, performing with internationally renowned choreographers and companies in theatres, festivals, and cultural institutions across Europe and beyond. This experience shaped his strong sense of movement, rhythm, and visual composition. He later studied cinematography and audiovisual media, building a career as a camera operator, videographer and editor, creating documentary films, music videos and dance films. His background in movement and performance continues to influence his visual language as a director and video artist.
